(NOTE: Due to the decline of steam supply and the deteriorating
condition of the Tiwi Geothermal Plant, its present actual generating
capacity is now only about 200 to 250 MW. But this decreased Tiwi
Geothermal power generation has been compensated by the commissioning
of new, additional oil-based generating sets and minihydro plants in
the iland province of Masbate and the island municipalities of in
Albay. Total Energy Consumption of the Bicol Region (highest
registered demand, as of late 1990s) LESS THAN
100 MW!
